PBR is Spotlighted in the 4th Edition of PEG's Authoritative Survey
PEG Research has for many years periodically prepared a survey and report on alternatives to traditional ratemaking (“Altreg”) for the Edison Electric Institute. EEI released the latest report in this series on April 1. It provides an authoritative taxonomy and explanation of Altreg approaches and documents Altreg precedents. The usefulness of Altreg in addressing the increasingly complex regulatory landscape is discussed. An important focus of the new report is multiyear rate plans and other forms of PBR.
