About PEG

The Pacific Economic Group consortium consists of two companies, Pacific Economics Group LLC and Pacific Economics Group Research LLC, which are active in the fields of litigation and utility regulation.

The principals of the PEG companies include several well known economists. Charles Cicchetti is a Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California and was previously chair of Wisconsin's Public Service Commission. Jeff Dubin teaches economics at UCLA and UC Santa Barbara. John Chamberlin, Larry Kaufmann, and Mark Lowry are noted authorities on modern utility regulation.

PEG offers a wide array of economic and management consulting services. Areas of expertise include economic analysis, statistical research, finance, and expert witness testimony. Our economics training and broad foundation of knowledge permit us to retool and address emerging issues quickly. We frequently work with senior levels of company management.

Our strengths include services, such as benchmarking and price control regulation, that play a central role in overseas regulation. This has given our practice a significant international orientation. We have undertaken projects in more than a dozen countries around the world and are particularly active in Australia and Canada.

The principals of each company in the PEG consortium serve as Senior Advisors to the other but are not owners or operators. The companies share the PEG logo and maintain a common website.

For further details of past projects involving PEG consultants, please visit the Expertise and Clients sections of our website.
